Dmitry Afanasevich Rosinskiy was born in 1927 in the village of Gorbin in the Odesa region. He worked as a tractor driver at the Timiryazev MTS in North Kazakhstan. From 1950 to 1956, he worked in tractor operations and later led a tractor-harvesting brigade starting in 1957 at 'Zarechny' state farm in Lenin District. He was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor on December 10, 1973, by the Supreme Soviet of the USSR and honored as 'Honored Mechanizer of the Kazakh SSR'.
