He has served as the long-term manager of the House of Books in Plovdiv and worked as a journalist and editor for several newspapers, including 'Maritsa' and 'Haskovo Tribune'. He is a translator of Russian literature and the owner of the bookstore 'Otec Paisiy' in Plovdiv. Nachev is known for his contributions to publishing and was awarded the 'Hristo G. Danov' prize for book distribution in 2000.
