Stepan Khachatur Mairepetian is an Armenian biologist born on October 24, 1939, in Nor Bayazet. He earned a Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences in 1988 and has been a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia since 2000. He is the brother of epidemiologist Albert Mairepetian.
