Velikhan Parsami Valesyan (April 15, 1914 - March 18, 1977) was an Armenian Soviet engineer and professor. He earned a Doctor of Technical Sciences degree in 1951 and became a professor in 1952. Valesyan was a prominent figure in water supply engineering and hydrology, leading the respective department at the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute from 1962 to 1977. His scientific work predominantly focused on water supply, engineering hydrology, and water resource calculations.
