Artyom Sergei Melkonyan (May 17, 1931 - 1999) was a Soviet Armenian gardener and agricultural scientist. He earned a Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences in 1972 and became a professor in 1973. His contributions to horticulture in Armenia were significant during his lifetime.
