Georgy Mekhaki Shahnazaryan (born August 23, 1927) was an Armenian Soviet organic chemist who made significant contributions to his field. He received a Doctor of Chemical Sciences degree in 1981. Shahnazaryan was born in Srigekh, Kazakh district, in the Azerbaijan SSR, within the Soviet Union. His work is recognized within the scientific community, particularly in the field of organic chemistry.
