Maqsuda Aʼzamovna Hojinova was a prominent Uzbek scientist in the field of mechanics. She was an academician of the Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences and received her doctorate in technical sciences in 1958. Hojinova contributed significantly to Uzbekistan's textile industry, developing technology for producing textiles from short flax fibers. An accomplished musician, she led the 'Meros' maqom ensemble and also served as a professor at Andijon University. Her music compositions included traditional Uzbek pieces, and she was honored with several awards for her contributions to science and culture.
