Blagoje Krstanovski was a Macedonian defender and professional soldier in the Army of the Republic of Macedonia (ARM). Born on March 29, 1974, in Livoishta, Ohrid, he tragically lost his life on April 7, 1999, due to sniper fire from the Kosovo side during the Kosovo War. It is presumed that he was killed by British SAS soldiers, who were conducting clandestine operations at the time. He is recognized as the first casualty of the armed forces in independent Macedonia.
