Viktor Mikhailovich Kolobashkin (February 15, 1931 – September 23, 1984) was a Soviet physicist and professor who served as the rector of the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPhI) from 1975 to 1984. After graduating with honors from MEPhI in 1956, he advanced through academic ranks, contributing significantly to nuclear physics and educational reforms.
