Sergey Apollonovich Nikitov is a Russian scientist born on April 23, 1955, in Berdichev, Zhytomyr Oblast, USSR. He holds a Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences degree and specializes in solid-state micro- and nanoelectronics as well as solid-state physics. Nikitov became a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) in 2022 and serves as the director of the V.A. Kotelnikov Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics. He was also the winner of the First Scientific Mega Grant competition.
