Petr (Greek: Πέτρος), born Stefanos Astifidis, was a significant figure in the Greek old calendar movement. He served as the Metropolitan of Astoria from 1962 until his death in 1997. Petr was also the rector of the Church of Saint Markella in Astoria, New York. His influence in the Greek Orthodox community, particularly among those who followed the old style of the calendar, marked his tenure in American religious life.
