Атанас Пържелов was a Bulgarian football player and coach, born on February 9, 1932, in Veliko Tarnovo. He played as a goalkeeper for several clubs from 1945 to 1959. After his playing career, he coached teams including Benkovski and Botев (Pazardzhik), as well as the men's team of Slavia Sofia. He served as the head coach of the Bulgarian national football team from 1979 to 1982, leading the team through 30 matches. Pържелов also held administrative roles in Bulgarian football and was involved in journalism.
