Marina Smilyanets (b. October 12, 1992, Kyiv) is a Ukrainian playwright, screenwriter, theater worker, and journalist. She has authored over 15 plays for both children and adults, which have been staged in various theaters across Kyiv, including 'Golden Gates', 'Actor', and the National Drama Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka, as well as in theaters in other Ukrainian cities and internationally in Bristol, Munich, and Riga. Since 2018, she has served as the deputy director at the New Ukrainian Theater Arts Center.
