Maria Fyodorovna Korotkaya, born on October 1, 1937, in Khlebadarovka, is a distinguished production worker and forewoman of plasterers at Construction Management No. 3 of the Azovstalstroy trust in Zhdanov, Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. She was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor in 1973 and was recognized as a Meritorious Builder of the Ukrainian SSR the same year. Additionally, she served as a deputy in the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR.
