Kiril Konstantinov Gruev was a Bulgarian surveyor and a prominent member of the Bulgarian Communist Party. He was born on March 17, 1901, in Lerin, then part of the Ottoman Empire. He completed his high school education in Shumen and became involved with the Bulgarian Communist Youth Union and the BCP. Gruev participated in the 1926 Vienna Plenary and worked as a technical collaborator for the BCP's Foreign Bureau. He graduated in surveying in 1930 and served as a professor at the State Polytechnic from 1945 to 1967. He passed away in 1980.
