Sergey Alexandrovich Tsvetkov (December 21, 1946 – August 10, 1998) was a Soviet and Russian engineer and scientist known for his work in developing recording equipment for physical measurements. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering in 1970. From 1970 to 1998, he worked at the NIIIT (VNIIMA), rising from engineer to deputy head of a division, then head of a department. He held a Candidate of Technical Sciences degree and received the State Prize of the USSR in 1989 for creating an analog-to-digital recorder for physical measurement systems.
