Anatoly Alexandrovich Petrov (May 5, 1936 – October 1, 2011) was a Russian engineer and researcher, known for his work in the development of electromechanical devices for nuclear munitions automation. He graduated from MEI in 1959 and spent 45 years at VNIIA, progressing from engineer to head of the research department. He was awarded the USSR State Prize in 1979 for his contributions to the serial production of nuclear torpedo weapons and received several honors, including the Order of the Red Banner of Labor in 1976.
