Anatoly Viktorovich Meshayev, born on May 27, 1953, in Kursk, is a Soviet and Russian trombonist, arranger, sound engineer, and composer. During the Soviet era, he played trombone in several vocal-instrumental ensembles including 'Lyra', 'Nadezhda', 'Leisya, Pesnya', and 'Krasnye Maki'. Throughout the perestroika and post-Soviet periods, he became a leading sound engineer in pop music, producing many hits for the group 'Laskoviy May' and composing several songs for them. Since 2009, he has participated in the revived 1970s ensemble 'Leisya, Pesnya'.
