Stepan Afinogenovich Nosov (April 10, 1902 – September 14, 1981) was an Old Believer writer and scribe. Born in a peasant family in Komi Republic, he faced hardships due to collectivization, leading to multiple relocations. Nosov served in the army during World War II and later engaged in religious education. He authored 28 handwritten books containing religious texts and prayers, which are still in use today. He became involved with Old Believers in 1955 and dedicated his life to religious enlightenment efforts until his death in 1981.
