Mykhailo Vasylovych Holubchyk, born on February 27, 1955, in Lutsk, is a prominent doctor of medical sciences and professor. He serves as the head of the Department of Medical Statistics at the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P. L. Shupyk. In addition, he is the director of the Center for Medical Statistics within the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and is a member of the Ministry's Certification Commission. Holubchyk also acts as an external consultant for the WHO Regional Office for Europe on medical statistics.
