Gencho Svetoslavov Skordev is a Bulgarian mathematician and a corresponding member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences since 1989. He served as the dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Sofia University from 1983 to 1989 and was head of the Department of Complex Analysis and Topology from 1988 to 1990. His research interests include topology, automatic sequences, and mathematics education. He has made significant contributions to special resolvents of sheaves, fixed-point index theory for multitask images, automatic sequences, and fractals.
