Archimandrite Adam, born Vakhtang Mikheilis dze Akhaladze on March 1, 1962, in Batumi, is a prominent cleric of the Georgian Orthodox Church, poet, scientist, philosopher, educator, and public figure. He serves as the rector of St. Tamar the Queen University, a member of various national ethical boards, as well as an expert for international Christian research. He has authored numerous books and articles, contributing significantly to theology, poetry, and medical ethics. He is also the head priest of the Church of St. John the Theologian in Tbilisi.
