Mars Gilyajuly Safarov, born April 18, 1937, is an organic chemist and higher education teacher. He earned his Doctor of Chemical Sciences degree in 1979 and became a professor in 1982. He has been recognized as an Honored Scientist of the Bashkir ASSR in 1986 and received the title of Honored Worker of Higher Professional Education in the Russian Federation in 1998. Additionally, he was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor in 1986.
