Xu Jianping (January 27, 1956 – December 15, 2015) was a retired Chinese football player and goalkeeper. He participated in the 1980 AFC Asian Cup and later joined Dalian Wanda's coaching staff, where he helped the team win the Jia A league title (now known as the Chinese Super League). Xu passed away at the age of 59 in Dalian due to lung cancer on December 15, 2015.
