Timofey Petrovich Avdeev was a Soviet tank unit commander during World War II. He served as a lieutenant in the 226th Tank Regiment of the Leningrad Front. Avdeev distinguished himself in combat until his death in action on June 6, 1944. He was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, the Soviet Union's highest honor for bravery in military service. His valor and commitment to duty represent the sacrifices made by many during the conflict.
