Pyotr Ilyich Budkin (February 6, 1921 – September 27, 1987) was a Russian Soviet artist known for his landscape paintings and teaching at Ryazan Art School from 1950 to 1981. Born in Griwki, he pursued art education in Alma-Ata and then at the Repin Institute in Leningrad. Budkin became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR in 1951. His works were displayed in personal exhibitions and are housed in several museums. He initially focused on historical themes but later transitioned to simpler artistic forms.
