Рафаил Кәлимуллин, born on December 18, 1942, in Belovo, Novosibirsk Oblast, is a retired Soviet general-major. He was active in Komsomol work in Kemerovo from 1966 to 1969 and from 1971 worked in state security agencies. His significant role was as the chairman of the TASSR State Security Committee from 1987 to 1993. His contributions to state security and governance are notable during a significant period in Soviet history. He is currently 81 years old.
