Vladimir Nikolaevich Pomyatko (October 5, 1925 – July 17, 2005) was a noted Soviet scientist in the field of agricultural sciences. He earned his Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences in 1981 and became a professor in 1983. In 1993, he was elected as a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Pomyatko was renowned for his work on industrial rabbit production technology and intensive fur farming techniques for various types of fur-bearing animals.
