Anatoly Vasilyevich Korshunov (January 14, 1911 – August 1991) was a Soviet physicist born in Novosibirsk. He worked as a carpenter before studying at Leningrad University, graduating in electrophysics in 1934. Following his studies, he worked in a laboratory under notable optical scientist Yevgeny Gross. Korshunov served in the Soviet Army during World War II and later became a scientific secretary at a research institute. In 1952, he returned to Krasnoyarsk and became an associate professor. He held prominent positions in optics and earned several awards for his contributions to science.
