Erezhep Alkhayirovich Mambetkaziev (born September 13, 1937) is a Kazakh scientist and professor, recognized for his contributions to chemistry, particularly in electrochemistry and environmental protection. He served as the Minister of Education in Kazakhstan (1993-1995) and was the rector of East Kazakhstan State University from 1984 to 2001. Mambetkaziev played a significant role in educational reforms and founded important educational institutions. He received the 'Parasat' order for his services and was honored as an honorary citizen of Ust-Kamenogorsk, emphasizing his impact on regional and national education.
