Semyon Yefimovich Matuschenko (1924-1988) was a Soviet partisan and World War II soldier, serving as an artilleryman and being awarded the Order of Glory three times. He participated in significant battles across Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, and Hungary, ultimately ending the war in Austria. After demobilization in 1945, he held positions in local communist organizations and worked as a carpenter. Matuschenko was also a Victory Parade participant in 1945. He passed away on September 22, 1988.
