Zinoviy Teodorovych Nazarchuk is an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, recognized for his work in the field of non-destructive testing and material diagnostics. Born on April 12, 1952, in Lviv, he graduated with honors in 1974 from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. He obtained his PhD in 1982 and his doctorate in 1990. He held key positions in the Physics and Mechanics Institute and became chairman of the Western Scientific Center of NASU and Ministry of Education in 2006.
