Nina Alexeyevna Noskovich, born on February 8, 1911, in Saint Petersburg, was a Soviet illustrator and artist. She studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts and the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. During her career, she worked at the Children's Literature Publishing House and illustrated numerous children's books and magazines. Arrested in 1937 under political charges, she spent years in labor camps before being released during WWII. After her release, she continued her artistic work, contributing significantly to children's literature until her death in 1995.
