Iosif Meierovich Ostrovsky (1935–1993) was a Soviet and Israeli artist, a member of the USSR Union of Artists and the World Association of Artists and Sculptors. He studied painting at the Odessa Art School from 1950 to 1955 and learned from notable teachers. In December 1989, he moved to Israel and became the chief artist of Sderot. His works were exhibited in numerous countries including Russia, Ukraine, the USA, and Israel, with pieces held in museums and private collections worldwide.
