Vasily Grigoryevich Petrochenko (February 27, 1918 – December 27, 1991) was a veteran of World War II and a Hero of the Soviet Union. He served as a lieutenant colonel and commanded the battalion of the 1283rd Rifle Regiment of the 60th Rifle Division within the 47th Army on the 1st Belorussian Front. His contributions during the war were recognized with the highest honors.
