Throughout his career, he published 115 problems of various types and was recognized with 80 awards in competitions, including 12 first prizes. He participated in the USSR Championships finishing in notable positions, including 4th in 1967 and 5th in both 1965 and 1967, demonstrating his deep engagement in the chess composition field.
