Dmitry Alexeyevich Polukhin (1927—1993) was a Soviet scientist and designer of rocket and space technology. He served as the chief designer at the design bureau 'Salyut' and was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor in 1980. He was a laureate of the Lenin Prize in 1976 and the State Prize in 1967, and he held the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences.
