Valery Zosimovich Ponomaryov (born February 15, 1942) is a Soviet and Russian political figure. He served as the chairman of the Kurgan Regional Duma of the third convocation and held the rank of major general in the tax police, as well as colonel in the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia.
