Makhran Shaikhievich Saidov, also known as Amir Makhran and Yakub, born on January 22, 1975, is a Chechen field commander and radical Islamist. He participated in the First and Second Chechen Wars on the side of Ichkeria, commanding the Centre sector of the Southwestern Front of the Chechen armed forces. A member of the terrorist organization 'Imarat Kavkaz' since October 7, 2007, he was appointed by Dokku Umarov as commander of the Eastern direction of the Vilayat Nokhchicho of Imarat Kavkaz. He was detained in Turkey on October 27, 2016, but his further fate is unknown.
