Igor Valentinovich Petko (April 15, 1936 – October 10, 2019) was a Soviet and Ukrainian scientist specializing in household service equipment. He earned a doctorate in technical sciences in 1992 and became a professor in 1993. Petko was known for founding a Ukrainian scientific school focused on material hydrocutting and was recognized as an Honored Educator of Ukraine, contributing significantly to his field and education in Ukraine.
