Currently, he serves as the deputy chief engineer of Yunnan Construction Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd. and the chief architect of Yunnan Architectural Design Institute. Elected as a representative of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) of China in February 2018, he became a member of the NPC Standing Committee and the Ethnic Affairs Committee shortly after.
