Valentin Ivanovich Posukhov (born January 3, 1939) is a Ukrainian journalist, local historian, prose writer, meticulous researcher of the history and oral tradition of the Poltava region, poet, and humorist. He is the author of numerous articles, studies, and books on historical and local history topics, as well as poetry collections. He is a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. He lives and works in the city of Poltava.
