Jafar Hasani, born on March 21, 1966, in Borujerd, is an Iranian screenwriter. He began his professional career in film and television in 1989 by joining the Art Bureau. He won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Screenplay at the 30th Fajr Film Festival for his work 'A Rope Closer than a Vein'. His other notable screenplays include 'Telephone', 'Long Shadows of Sin', 'Identity', 'Ice Wall', 'Breach', 'A Man - A Woman', and 'Road to Paradise'. He has also published a play titled 'Nightmare' and the screenplay 'Identity'.
