Asghar Dadbeh (born March 9, 1947, in Yazd) is a professor of Islamic philosophy and mystical literature at Allameh Tabatabai University and head of the Literature department at the Great Encyclopedia of Islamic Studies. He also serves as the head of the Persian Language and Literature department at Islamic Azad University, North Tehran branch. In 2002, he was recognized as a distinguished figure in the fields of mystical literature and Islamic philosophy at the second conference of lasting figures.
