Abdul Wahid Khenji was an Iranian mountaineer and geographer who developed a passion for mountaineering from a young age, influenced by his father, Mohammad Amin Khenji. In the 1950s, he served as the editor of the 'Mountaineer and Mountain' magazine, publishing articles about Iranian mountains like Damavand. He trained beginners at the request of the Mountaineering Federation and authored a series of articles on the culture of Iranian mountains. Khenji created numerous maps of various mountainous regions in Iran throughout his life and passed away in Tehran.
