Jamshid Mohabi, born in 1952 in Isfahan, is an Iranian tombak player. He learned music from his father, a tar player, and studied the tombak with Hussein Pourabotaleb, later mastering Nasser Farhangfar's style. Besides the tombak, he plays the setar, trained under notable musicians like Mohammad Reza Lotfi. As an educator, he has mentored numerous students, contributing significantly to the Iranian music community. He also founded a workshop for tombak construction and collaborated with Rahim Shirani in producing percussion instruments since 1984.
