Seyyed Alireza Beheshti Shirazi, born on 20 Azar 1339 (December 11, 1960), is an Iranian politician and journalist. He was a close advisor to Mir Hossein Mousavi and a disciple of Mohammad Ismail Dolabi, contributing to mystical and religious writings. After the 1979 Revolution, he was active in the Islamic Republic Party and the newspaper Jomhouri Eslami. He served as Secretary of the Cabinet during Mousavi's premiership, established the publication 'Roudaneh', and later became the editor-in-chief of the 'Kalameh Sabz' newspaper during the 2009 presidential elections.
