Post-war, he worked as an international journalist and correspondent for Pravda in Latin America, and later became deputy editor of the magazine 'Around the World.' From 1981 to 1985, he was the chief editor of the literary and artistic almanac 'Modern Drama.' Two of his works were adapted into films.
