Nəzir Əhmədov, also known as Nəzir Eltəkin, was an Azerbaijani poet and publicist born on December 27, 1925, in Kəhrizoba, Nakhchivan. He was a member of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union since 1996. Əhmədov served as a deputy in the Supreme Soviet from 1967 to 1971 and was the head of the Sheki city executive authority from 1993 to 1998. Additionally, he held the position of deputy minister of economy in Azerbaijan from 1998 until 2001. He passed away in Baku on March 5, 2005.
