Evgeny Ivanovich Blinov was a Soviet and Russian statesman, born on December 14, 1937, in Anzhero-Sudzhensk. He served as the chairman of the Novokuznetsk City Executive Committee from 1989 to 1991 and as the head of the Novokuznetsk administration from 1991 to 1995. He was recognized as a deserving builder of the Russian Federation. Blinov passed away on May 14, 2015, in Novokuznetsk.
